Hotwire, the global technology communications, and marketing consultancy, has unveiled a Global Advisory Board to further strengthen the agency’s strategic advisory services, appointing technology heavyweight David Rowan as its first member.
Hotwire’s Global Advisory Board will act as both internal and external counsel, helping input strategic direction into the businesses and drive consultancy across its portfolio of some of the world’s largest and most innovative technology clients. By appointing board members with industry-leading expertise, Hotwire will enhance its existing tech specialisms, with a key focus on expanding its client advisory services for next-generation, frontier technologies. Advisory members will have expertise in four strategic areas: AI innovation technologies, regulation and legislation, funding and growth, and new media and campaigning.
The first member of Hotwire’s Global Advisory Board is innovation expert and technology columnist, David Rowan. David is a leading speaker and consultant on emerging technologies such as AI. David is the founding editor-in-chief of WIRED, as well as a regular technology contributor for The Times, GQ, Condé Nast Traveller, and The Sunday Times. David has invested in over 160 early-stage tech companies and his best-selling book, “Non-Bullshit Innovation: 17 Proven Ways to Transform How You Work”, sets out proven strategies for future-proofing a successful business.
Jeremy Lucas, CEO of Hotwire UK, said “We’re excited to continue the evolution of our agency by establishing our brand new Global Advisory Board. David’s reputation precedes him, and I’m honoured that someone of his stature will be joining the Hotwire team and helping take our client offer to the next level. With industry heavyweights like David at its core, this board of industry experts will help Hotwire maintain its reputation as true advisors on bleeding edge technologies, as well as helping our clients see around corners and navigate a world that’s in perpetual beta.”
David Rowan added “I’m honoured to be the inaugural member of Hotwire’s Global Advisory Board, where I will be spearheading future growth and expansion in key tech verticals. I look forward to helping the business expand its expertise in the evolving fields of AI, health-tech, climate-tech, and other emerging innovations at the cutting edge of our industry.”
The announcement of Hotwire’s Global Advisory Board continues the agency’s current pace of growth, after the announcement earlier this year that Megan West would be joining Hotwire as Director for ABM & Marketing Services.
